Description

New composition and appearance of DrARTEX Gold leads world vibration damping products trends. Vibration damping material combines not only corrosion resistance now, but also works in a wide temperature range. When applied to doors, roof, boot and bonnet lids not only it dampens vibration, but deters corrosion, prolonging your car’s longevity.

Composition

A multi-layered vibration damping material with aluminum foil 100 µm outer surface, polymer layer on butyl rubber base and a self-adhesive layer. 1500 hours of testing under the salt fog show no detectable corrosion centers.

Properties

The material has excellent flexibility what allows to use it on different surfaces while providing the highest vibration damping for material of this kind. The material is waterproof and insures good defence against corrosion preventing any water and oxygen from coming in contact with chassis.

Application

Use for installation on a bulkhead, floor and wheel arches.
The material is installed at dry clean painted metal surface. Temperature in workroom must be from +18 to +30°С. Material is released from protective tint and is pressed carefully to work surface. Care should be taken to avoid air chambers in the material, which admit moisture and reduce insulation properties. Do not install material on the dirty and on the corroded metal surface.

Storage

Products stored in a room at a temperature no higher than +40°C in the horizontal position on a flat surface at a distance of not less than 1 m from the heating system in the conditions excluding moisture, oils and direct sunlight, stacked no more than 1 m in height.
