Doors are one of major sources of noise. Cavish Enterprises RedWind product is an effective noise insulation solution for your car. It uses as cushioning, sealing and amortization elements in the car doors and it enhances insulation results of a standard rubber door seal. Our product is waterproof and non-flammable.

 

Composition

This product consists of porous rubber sealing cord obtained by mechanical foaming of the latex mixture and curing it.

 

Properties

Cavish Enterprises Wind consists of EPDM sponge rubber cord by 6 mm in diameter and 1 mm of plastic cord inside. Hardness – 35 SHA. Temperature endurance: -40…120°C.

The material is waterproof, flexible. It has a high vibration damping ability.

 

Application

Used for additional insulation of standard car rubber door seals.

 

Very simple to use:

• Remove door seal.
• Take steel wire (or plastic cord). Lubricate the cord with soap or shampoo and passed it through internal hollow of the door seal with the following rubber cord’s pulling.
• If the cord is passed through solid (not detachable) seal, it is recommended to begin passing through ventilation openings in the seal. In absence thereof you need to make a little incision (till 10 mm) along the seal. It is more efficiently to stretch the cord out sequentially through the found (or made) openings with the pitch of 50 cm.
• After the cord’s stretching out in circle, to make pull out for the cord through inlet and then to glue the cord’s beginning and end together and to hide place of the gluing into the seal.
• Places of openings at the door seal must be glued after the cord’s stretching out.

 

Storage

The goods are stored to a spool by 250 meters in one.
